A while ago I was asked by a friend of mine if I’d ever be interested in photographing a boudoir shoot. The inquiry didn’t shock me. I had thought about it, and being a close friend I figured it’s a good way to start my venture into that field. I know a lot of photographers focus on one type of photography but my creative juices are flowing too much to be stuck in just ONE type of photography. I ended up doing this shoot for my friend and her friend (as gifts to their hubbys for anniversaries) and it was a BLAST! We cranked some tunes, got to play dress up (ok, well I didn’t play dress up) and had a wonderful spread of fruits and pastries to munch on. I left that house with a new friend and I think that’s what this is all about. Not just boudoir, but photo sessions in general. I think it makes the whole experience so much more enjoyable if you just let loose and get to know each other while you’re spending time together. I mean, otherwise I’d have like nothing to ramble on about for these posts and I might as well just post pictures! But, sorry, I like to write too. Anyways… speaking of rambling… here are some images of my first boudoir shoot. *faces not shown to protect the innocent 😉
