A while ago Katy contacted me about doing family portraits. As time got closer for the date of the shoot we realized that the weather was going to play a key element in where we took the pictures. We were planning on outside, but with the fall being much colder than it has in the past few years, we had to resort to taking the pictures at their home so everyone could stay warm in between pictures. Not to mention they just moved here from the west coast so their children weren’t used to this kind of weather! It was a very bitter fall day but their backyard proved to be a great place for pictures! She had sent me pictures via her cell phone ahead of time, but when I got there I was pleasantly surprised. With an old wooden railing, big field, tall grass and old trees it was a photographer’s dream! Her and her husband sure do have their hands full with their four energetic children and it was a fun time photographing this great young family!

The Coster Family : Falmouth, MA
A few months back I offered a free “military couple” style shoot to the Cape Cod Coastie Spouses and Autumn was the winner! It took a couple months to get a date solidified and we finally got it to work this past Sunday which happened to be Veteran’s Day! Pretty awesome to photograph a beautiful couple and their two A.DOR.A.BLE children on a day that salutes to what Jon does every day! We branched off of the military shoot to also have regular family pictures and a few Christmas themed shots too. To be honest, I might have driven off with the two cuties had it not been for the fact that we were the only people at the location so it would have been pretty obvious…
Anyways, like all of the Coastie couples that I have worked with, these two are very, VERY much in love with each other and work so well as a team! They and their children got changed into three different outfits in a car in record time and the little ones were so well-behaved! A perfect little good-looking family! Check ’em out!
I couldn’t decide which one was my favorite. These two are just too cute with each other!
